Riverboats Children's Centre

Action for Children invited us to visit one of their local projects to see first hand the sort of things they can offer young children and their families.

We met some really lovely people and would like to thank Sarah, the Centre Manager, Claire and Heidi for spending the time to show us around and talk to us about their work.  They have a great facility and offer lots of fun and informative sessions for families with children 0 - 5 years.

Jake had a great time looking round the new facilities, trying out the football and gym ball, he even squeezed down the tunnel.

He learned about the 'Messy Play' days, Baby Massage and Fun Days as well as all the facilities for parents, carers and families to be.

For Jake it was an Action for Children poster that really struck a chord with him.

Many thanks to Elaine and Amanda, our Action for Children team members, for arranging the visit and coming to meet us there!
